Fireweed Jelly

After a disastrous salmonberry jam experience, this morning I completed my first successful batch of fireweed jelly. With some help from the wonderfully patient, Jim and a few sunny hours I was able to collect 8 cups of fireweed blooms. Sugar, Lemon juice, and a destroyed kitchen later it was enough for six jars of jelly. Next up: Fireweed honey
